As an athlete, a competitor, a fitness instructor, a mother, a friend, massage therapy will not be just a job, but my purpose and passion in life. A part of who I am includes my heart to serve those around me and with massage therapy, I love the idea that I can help people, bring them joy and healing as well as knowing that I can make a difference in their day. Every person that I connect with will come with a different story and I want to make sure they know they are valued because through my experience, I know how important that is to an individual. I know what massage therapy has done for me and helped me in so many ways and I want to share that with others. When I put self-care into practice, I hope others are encouraged to do the same and be intentional about who they are, where they are at, what they are doing and also have a tribe to lift them up during the highs and lows and in between.
As an athlete and competitor, I know what it means to give it everything you've got and to push yourself further than you thought you ever could. I will take that same mentality into this practice to give it my all. As a fitness instructor, I know what dedication and commitment looks like by taking the time to put work into creating a good workout and as a massage therapist I want to try my best in making sure my client leaves feeling rejuvenated and has a positive experience. As a mother, this role has helped me be the massage therapist I want to be by having a loving, nurturing, compassionate, patient and kind heart making sure each client feels noticed. As a friend, trust is a big deal and as a massage therapist someone is trusting me with their bodies, their pain and their healing and I am honored to be a part of it. Who I am, having a heart to serve and help, having a gift of touch, and my passion for creating a place where you will be seen, heard and valued is why being a massage therapist is the path I chose for myself.
